On the morning of August 28, 2025, at the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, The AIDC DeCenter Launch Ceremony was successfully organized — adding a new strategic connection point in Asia-Pacific to DeCenter’s expanding global AI infrastructure network. With a total investment of USD 200 million, including an initial USD 20 million in Phase I, the project is among the first international-standard AI-ready data centers in Vietnam, designed to serve as a cornerstone for artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and next-generation digital services.

The AIDC DeCenter Launch Ceremony was held at Da Nang Hi-Tech Park

The ceremony was distinguished by the presence of senior leaders from the central government, the leadership of Da Nang City, representatives of ministries and agencies, along with a large gathering of experts, enterprises, investors, and partners in the fields of information technology, artificial intelligence, and digital infrastructure.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Trần Chí Cường, Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, underlined that the data center will strengthen Da Nang’s role as a high-tech hub of the Central region, driving advancements in IT infrastructure, cloud computing, AI, and IoT, while simultaneously contributing to budget revenues, developing supporting services, and elevating Da Nang’s position on the global technology map. The city, he noted, remains firmly committed to supporting investors and creating favorable conditions for sustainable growth.

On behalf of the investor, Mr. Vladimir Kangin, CEO of IPTP Networks, emphasized the ambition and long-term vision behind the project: “The 10MW AIDC DeCenter is not just a data center — it will become a core infrastructure for artificial intelligence, finance, gaming, high-frequency trading, and blockchain. We are building it to the highest international standards, with optimized energy efficiency, a carrier-neutral model, ultra-low latency, and sustainable operations. Beyond technology, we are also committed to giving back through internships, training programs, and open-source tools — bringing real value to the younger generation and to society as a whole.

The project will be built on a site of more than 10,000 square meters with a minimum power capacity of 10 MW and the ability to host up to 1,000 racks. Designed to Tier 3+/Tier 4 international standards, it will ensure operational resilience with redundancy models such as N+1, N+2 and 2N, guaranteeing uptime of more than 99.982 percent. The data hub is expected to achieve certifications including ISO 9001, ISO 27001/17/18, ISO 22301, PCI DSS, and GDPR compliance. Groundbreaking is scheduled for late 2025 or March 2026, with full operations projected in the final quarter of 2027.
